The Springboard program is designed to assist San Diego innovation companies with marketing, financial, and strategy advice through a network of over 400
Entrepreneurs-in-Residence. Over 3,000 companies have gone through the program. http://connect.org.

Startup San Diego
Startup San Diego is a group of grassroots, volunteer-based group of local entrepreneurs, mentors and investors committed to creating an inclusive and thriving San Diego startup community. MentorSD: Have a scalable startup looking for traction? StartUp San Diego hosts Mentor Hours with technology experts and successful entrepreneurs. Companies meet with mentors in rapid-paced 30 minute sessions that focus on overcoming their biggest current hurdle.
MentorNight: A large scale MentorSD with about 30 companies, 30 mentors, food, amazing networking. Start with MentorSD before getting approved for the Mentor Night programs (~once a Quarter).
Domain Expert Hours is a program connects San Diego startups with local domain experts in various fields (e.g. design, legal, marketing) for 30-minute, 1-on-1 meetings with direct feedback and guidance. As an early-stage startup, you will have access to the best experts to answer serious questions.
San Diego CleanTech Scrub
The San Diego CleanTech Scrub is sponsored by CleanTech San Diego (http://cleantechsandiego.org) and is an event that helps support over 850 new and established San Diego CleanTech companies, where 4 local companies pitch their company and products to our member-base for partnerships and market awareness. It’s a great way to get connected with multiple incubators, accelerators and industry professionals.
CommNexus and EvoNexus
CommNexus is a technology industry non-profit serving the Southern California area and headquartered out of San Diego. The organizations accelerates the start, growth, and building of San Diego’s technology amd innovation industry through content-driven programs that provide access to capital, talent, and business development. EvoNexus is a community-supported, fully pro-bono technology incubator with locations in San Diego. It’s a super-cool program that gives budding entrepreneurs space and mentoring that helps get them from concept to reality. Over the past five years, Evo has mentored 68 companies which have gone on to raise $573 million, created over 1,000 jobs, and seen 7 exits to date.
NextStage is a program that provides advice and assistance for San Diego entrepreneurs who need help in raising capital, gettting customers, product launch, developing a team, general management and strategy. The way it works is that an entrepreneur will apply to become part of the program. Upon acceptance, the company will prepare a presentation that describes where they need help and will then present it to a group of hand-picked mentors during a two-hour session. The mentor group offers the entrepreneur candid feedback, suggestions, and introductions to industry contacts. There is no cost to the entrepreneur for this program.
SDSU Zahn Innovation Center is an incubator that supports San Diego State University innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs. The Zahn Innovation Center supports current and past SDSU students as they transform their ideas into companies.
UCSD Entrepreneur Challenge is a UCSD student organization that focuses on startups from the idea phase to the early seed stage. The Entrepreneur Challenge fosters community involvement and technological innovations with local entrepreneurs to help shape the future of San Diego’s economy.
UCSD Moxie Center is an educational program established to assist undergrad UCSD student entrepreneurs. The Moxie Center fosters the incubation of student ideas and hosts seminars, workshops, speakers, and classes.
USD Venture Vetting is a campus-wide entrepreneurship competition. Venture Vetting allows the venture and the entrepreneurto be vetted by potential investors. During the competition, USD students pitch to a panel of investors.
